Name:Uracil-DNA Glycosylase
Description:

General description

        Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG, UNG) catalyzes the release of free uracil from uracil-containing DNA. UDG efficiently hydrolyzes uracil from single-stranded or double-stranded DNA, but not from oligomers (6 or fewer bases), so it can be used to control carry-over contamination in PCR

Product features

        1、High purity:more than 99% by SDS-PAGE assay;

        2、High specificity:recognize the Uracil-DNA and cleave DNA at site where a deoxyuridylate residue has been incorporated

        3、Easily removal:the enzyme can be 95% heat killed by incubation at 95°C for 10 minutes.
